Our school prepares students, who are willing to do so, to write the DELF (Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française). It is an official qualification delivered by the French Department of Education to certify competencies of non-French native speakers in the French language.
At each level, 4 skills are evaluated: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
DELF qualifications are internationally recognized. They are consistent with the international standards for test development www.alte.org and the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages www.coe.int.
There is a specially adapted version of the DELF diplomas for teenagers called DELF Junior.
DELF Junior A1 – A2 –B1 – B2 The diploma delivered is identical to the standard DELF diploma. The junior version has the same basic structure as the standard DELF. Only the topics are different, they take into account the interests of teenagers. It can only be taken by students aged 13 to 18 years.
DELF is a lifetime diploma and is a bonus in a Resume.
French learners in Gr.9/10/11 can participate in an exchange program to La Reunion which takes place every year at the end of term 3 for 2 weeks.
