Therapy Centre

Our goal is to provide a service that is inclusive and of a high standard. For the Secondary School, our services include, but are not limited to: therapeutic counselling, early intervention, vocational guidance, academic support, one on one parent consultations, risk of suicide assessments, crisis intervention, family counselling, grief and bereavement counselling, psychoeducational groups and team building. Our services are available to all learners, parents and the DSP staff.
Another focus of our work is social pedagogical group work. This includes, for example, working with mixed-gender and gender-specific groups, such as the Girls Talk programme. We facilitate team-building activities, focused on strengthening peer-to-peer relationships and encouraging individual and group participation. Our work also includes addressing important areas of concern such as bullying and cyberbullying, anti-discrimination, diversity, anti-racism, alcohol and drug use, sexuality, and many more.
Learners, Parents and Teachers may schedule appointments with us via email or directly at the Therapy Centre. Learners younger than 12 years must obtain consent from their parents/guardians. Learners 12 years and older do not need consent from parents/guardians.
We are open Mondays to Fridays from 07:30 to 16:00.

The Tuckshop is 100% owned by the DSP. This means that we can have a high-quality Tuckshop that is tailored to our needs. We offer breakfast, lunch and a range of kiosk goods here. We also welcome parents for breakfast in the morning or coffee in the afternoon. Lunch can be pre-ordered via our Allxs booking platform.
The DSP Tuckshop is open from 8:00 am to 15:30 on school days. Working in close coordination with the school, we can flexibly adjust opening hours to meet the needs of the school family and the break times of the learners.
Allxs is our platform to manage all payments on our school premises. We strive for a cashless environment where leaners can make purchases via their Allxs student card. Register your child on the Allxs system to load money on your child’s student card, pre-book meals and enable your child to purchase from our Tuckshop.

The Schulshop is a one-stop shop for all school books, stationery and school clothing. The shop also offers a variety of children’s literature for sale.

The Schulshop is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 07:15 – 14:15.
